Dedicate time to your writing.
Writing can be a solitary endeavour and, in a busy world, it can be hard to carve out dedicated stretches of time to get your head into your project.
Faber Academy has been bringing groups of writers together on our courses for fifteen years, and we're opening our central London HQ for our first Writing Day – an opportunity for writers of all genres, levels and backgrounds to come together and spend focused time on their projects.
You will have desk space and uninterrupted writing time in our air-conditioned events space and classrooms in the company of your fellow writers.
If you’re working on a novel, memoir or new poetry collection – or some brilliant and entirely new literary form! –and need to build some accountability for your writing, or if you want to give yourself the time and space to plan out your new project, then our Writing Day is for you.

Is this the right event for me?
You’ll be hosted by Faber Academy staff, who will be there to support you to set your intentions or goals for the day, before letting you get your head down to write.
At the end of the day, you will have a chance to chat to the other writers around you about their projects and writing life, all while enjoying a glass of wine or a soft drink.
